The Oulu x Higher Education Day brought together 5000 young people from northern Finland to explore higher education and the different sub-options. For the second time, the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences organized a joint Oulu x Higher Education Day event on 2.11.2022, where the institutions presented their educational offerings.
Around 5000 young people from upper secondary schools and vocational colleges attended the event. A total of 60 schools participated, most of them in North Ostrobothnia. Young people also came from Kainuu, Lapland, North Savo, Central Ostrobothnia, and South Ostrobothnia.
The European University UNIC also had its own stand at the fair, which was visited by a steady stream of interested future students throughout the day. Exchange studies and other internationalization opportunities offered by UNIC attracted the interest of secondary school students and we warmly welcome everyone in Oulu and UNIC!
