Celebrate UNIC Day at the University of Deusto

The University of Deusto celebrates the UNIC Day with a wide range of activities. Check the program and participate online and on campus!

On campus games and activities, from students to students 

From 9.30am to 13.30h CET | Claustro del Paraninfo, Bilbao Campus | Spanish & Basque

The Student Board representatives at Deusto and students from the different faculties will guide students through different activities to explore what UNIC offers and get to know the superdiversity of this European University. 

Virtual Meeting Platform - Migration and social inclusion: Focus on refugees reception. Sharing challenges and inspiring practices: 

From 10am to 11am CET | Hybrid Event - Online and Sala Garate (Univresity of Deusto) | English

This session, organized together with Koç University, aims to share challenges common to two cities of the UNIC alliance - Bilbao and Istanbul in terms of migration and social inclusion, as well as to present practices with high impact in terms of inclusion of immigrant people and groups carried out in these cities by different governmental or social agents as part of an process of co-creation of innovative solutions to some of these challenges.

One of the challenges faced by the city of Bilbao is the reception of refugees. This event offers an opportunity to discuss and share experiences in the field of social inclusion of migrant groups from the perspective of the citizenship, refugees, association and non-profit organiztions as well as the the university itself.
