The voice is a reflection of our identity. Some trans people want a voice that matches their desire to be perceived as female, male, non-binary. They sometimes talk about their voice as a major obstacle in the achievement of their transition. In fact, several authors report that the satisfaction trans people feel with their voice, and its appropriateness to their representation of the female gender, plays a major role in their good quality of life.

Dominique Morsomme takes us on a journey of voice. She explains the means to achieve the goals set, talks about the constraints and proposes a path that can be adapted to each individual. Beyond the technical concepts required to learn a "new" vocal motor behaviour, she also offers the possibility of thinking about the world differently.
