CityLabs Festival (14-16/10/21): Mobile Symposium "Walk on the Women's Side"

Take part in the "Walk on the Women's Side" to learn more about a moving and current issue: violence against migrant women. This mobile symposium will enable participants to discover the different types of violence that migrant women face and the realities of people who are too often stigmatised. While walking in the City of Liège and discovering its migratory past and present, we will organise many stops with multilingual and intercultural activities! The symposium will end with an aperitif during which we will meet, exchange ideas and make connections. Le Monde des Possibles is a training centre for French as a foreign language and for computer skills for newcomers, located in the Longdoz district in Liège.

Le Monde des Possibles develops citizen initiatives in cultural action, French language training, and awareness-raising against inequalities and all forms of exclusion. Our activities are supported by two main approaches:

• To fight against exclusion and work towards the active participation in cultural, political, and socio-professional life.
• To promote the fulfilment and the insertion of socially disadvantaged migrants: develop actions for pleasure and act together for a project of a cohesive society.
