HEInnovate Train the Trainers Programme

The Train the Trainers Programme supports this purpose by preparing participants to use HEInnovate effectively within their own institutions, facilitate reflection processes and help turn self-assessment results into concrete action. Participants will learn how to:

• Use the HEInnovate framework and supporting resources effectively;
• Translate self-assessment results into strategic actions;
• Facilitate workshops and discussions within their institutions;
• Exchange experiences and good practices with peers from across Europe;
• Promote innovation and entrepreneurial thinking within their university communities.

Applications from European University Alliances and their member institutions are especially encouraged to apply. The programme is especially relevant for staff working in innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge transfer, institutional strategy, leadership development, or related areas.

The next programme includes a preparatory online meeting, a two-day training session in Budapest on 8 and 9 October 2026, and a follow-up online session. Participation is fully funded, including travel and accommodation. Only 30 places are available. Applications are open until 30 June 2026.
