City as a Lab: An EUC course

Dona Daria and Erasmus University College collaborated in a new course: The City as a Lab. Under the guidance of Dona Daria & their youth department SPACE, students practice to operationalize their knowledge, as in translating what they learn at the University into initiatives that support the emancipation and empowerment of Rotterdammers.

Realizing this vision, the students of EUC have devised several projects, which includes creating a third SPACE for youths with an affinity towards art and culture, organizing an educational Menstruation Issue Point for women with migration background, providing intervention that helps prospective students choose a suitable MBO study path, and a workshop for researchers to better support intiatives at a neighborhood level.
